Niece *Sigh

Salam.

It was past maghrib and I was alone in my room. Thinking back the scenes that would likely to occur if I am at home with my niece, Nadhrah. She has gotten her legs so she would follow me everywhere, at all times, like a duckling following her mother. She would cry loudly, seriously loud, if she could not see me. Like most of the time when I needed to go to toilet and she was not sleeping, once I closed the door, I could hear her earsplitting cries in front of the toilet. I would ignore her for few minutes but deep inside I felt sorry. I had to pick up and put her on my arms to comfort her afterwards. Perhaps I got little annoyed due to her weight but at the same time, I did appreciate the moment. That feeling when the small child put her head on your shoulder.

Priceless.

My way of thinking

Assalamualaikum (to my Muslim friends) and good day.

We (me and my classmates) went to Broga Hill last Sunday and now my body is all aching.
I would love to share the experience with all of you, however I have another topic to discuss. Hehe, "discuss".

Today we had a class on performance and motivation. I do not know how it lead to another but at the end we had to do our SWOT analysis. Next everyone had to share their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats with the whole class. So, in the process I thought about a threat of mine, others tend to dislike me at first even before they knew me. I am not exaggerating, I tell you.

Through out my life I have been blessed wit h great family members and fantastic friends, lots of them. But many times other people tend to dislike me at the beginning before we become good friends. Some of them ended up disliking me until the end too....

I went around asking my friends about their first impressions about me and most of them say that I am annoying due to my blunt speech. They claim that I speak more than needed in class and showing off. But the real thing is, firstly I feel pity to the teachers/ lecturers when no one answers  their questions. Secondly, if any lecturer propose any idea that I do not agree upon, I really want to ask and argue more because I want to figure why my thinking is/was not similar to their's. I have my own thinking and perhaps I am in the wrong side. So, I would love if they can enlighten me about their understanding on a particular subject.

Apparently,my fellow classmates dislike that in the first place and there is nothing I can do about it.

However, perhaps the problem really lies with me after all. I do not know, what say you?

My hometown

Good day, folks.

Cliche title eh, must be boring... mind you, I love my hometown! Do not say bad things about it.

Well, I come from Kuantan, a small town in Pahang, actually it is the capital of Pahang but my friends keep saying that it does not look like a capital of a state at all! Maybe true if you are comparing Kuantan to Kuala Lumpur or Johor Bahru or Ipoh.

I mention Kuantan a lot to my friends in college. They say that I am a little ambassador of Kuantan, but frankly speaking if they were to come to Kuantan, I do not know where to bring them to.

Kuantan has a lot of beaches such as Teluk Cempedak, Balok, Cherating, Batu Hitam and etc. Since I am a lover of beaches, I do not get tired of beaches. They are big, blue, beautiful, soothing and the smell is nice too.

Teluk Cempedak, Kuantan

We also have a small fishing village near to Teluk Cempedak called Tanjung Lumpur. I usually come here during weekends to buy fishes, prawns and squids. There are not really cheap, but surely they are fresh! When I was in secondary school, I went here to watch fireflies with my siblings. We had to take a boat and went down the river to find fireflies. I find the trip to be quite boring but after we found a group of fireflies, the excitement immediately came to me. The scenery was breathtaking and the waiting was worth it.

Actually, my brother used to attend a school nearby to a jetty in Tanjung Lumpur. He used to take boats instead of school buses to reach my mother's office in the town. Her previous office located near to the river and only took 10 minutes of walking from the jetty to reach there. Back in those days, he only had to pay 50 cents to the fishermen for a trip. What an interesting life he had.

I think this is long enough for this entry and I am going to pen off. Hopefully you will have the chance to visit Kuantan in the future! Adios.

Official Launch of CGEE2

Good day, ladies and gentlemen.

This evening I attended the official launch of Cyberjaya Graduate Employability Enabler 2 or in short known as CGEE 2.

The programme basically is a training for the participants to enhance their capability to become effective and efficient workers. The programme was inspired by Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal, one of Malaysia's millioners (not sure whether he is a millioner or billioner. So let's just say he is very...very.. rich) in order to help fellow countrymen to secure jobs in Cyberjaya.

I have met him twice, and I can say that this old man is a man and an obedient servant of his religion. Let me see if I have a picture of that old man. *browsing the photos, got it

Back to the topic, the event was held at Cyberview Lodge, a fabulous resort in Cyberjaya. I really want to share the pictures of the resort, so my friend and I did our mini photo shot on our own before the event started. I include a number of photos that we snapped around the resort.

Click here if you want to find out more about the resort. Perhaps you will be interested to stay here for your honeymoon or vacation with family..

Enough with the resort and let's talk about the event. It was short but sublime, I tell you. Everyone was fantastic!

The opening speech was done by Tan Sri MK himself and followed by the launching speech by Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. Then they had their gimmick for the launching.

The most exciting part would be the eating session. Yeay, everyone loves food! Although the prepared food was bihun ( it was delicious! God bless the cook who knows how to cook), chicken pie and egg tart, I enjoyed my meal, enough said.

Around 5.30 in the evening, the event ended.... I am quite sure the TPM was having his PC somewhere nearby because I could not find any of the reporters to have me interviewed. Hehe

This is a story of four people

*going up to the stage, hold the microphone and stand still.

I have a story to tell.

It is a story of four people.

There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it.

Anybody could have done it, but nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.

Everybody thought Anybody could do it but Nobody realized that everybody would not do it.

It ended with Everybody blaming Somebody but actually,  Nobody asked Anybody.

Thank you very much.
